The business philosophy of INPUT is simple: every retail location should be the best version of itself - regardless of size, location, or customer purchasing power. Small shops receive the same treatment as supermarkets in shopping centers when it comes to enhancing sales space. 

This logic guided us when we went to Smederevo to meet the client Rakić LTD DOO and explore the context in which they operate. This project phase was of particular importance: to understand the client's operating context, we spoke with management, employees and consumers, gaining a thorough insight into the needs and specifics of the location. It turned out that, besides the work, it was pure pleasure. 

Rakić LTD DOO is a retail chain with around 15 stores operating in Smederevo and its surroundings. Besides striving to bring its customers the best products at the lowest prices, this chain is deeply rooted in the city it operates in and the community it lives with, often saying "We are Smederevo." This motto is proven through warm and intimate communication, knowing their customers by name, and greeting them with a local "Hello, neighbor!" 

The client entrusted us with improving the organization, functionality, and aesthetics of their Smederevo store on Đura Daničić Street and opted for the EXPERT package, the most comprehensive combination of services and the complete implementation process.

What did we do for Rakić LTD DOO? 

The initial project included the basics of visual identity, with a color palette and personalized graphic elements. Pictograms with locations and symbols of the city of Smederevo combined with pastel colors ensured the uniqueness and recognizability of the space. 

After defining the layout - the arrangement of zones and categories in the space, we proceeded to decorate and equip the area. 

The first step was decorating the store’s front window. The old generic front received a new look: arranged graphical communication supported by local symbols, the store's slogan, and branding. The internal CM shelves for displaying goods are visible through the window, giving the space identity and inviting to purchase. 

The promotional islands we encountered in the space, centrally located and marked with handwritten notices, inspired our solution. Wanting to respect the sensibility of retail and customers and maintain existing habits, we provided writing boards for the handwritten notices hung on promotional baskets and islands. This combination of promotional islands, universal coverings, and wooden writing boards became the location's hallmark. The boards and chalk-written messages create an atmosphere of warmth, intimacy, and close customer relationships, entirely in line with the local culture in which the location operates. 

In the section dedicated to improving product display, the shelves for alcoholic beverages were given special attention. They were mounted at eye level and separated from the rest of the products. The modular unit with glass doors and elegant metal elements became one of the store's distinctive features. 

The checkout area was optimized by positioning the cash register in a suitable location within the space, allowing for the smooth movement of both staff and customers. Additionally, a wooden wall decoration and decorative pendant lighting make this zone modern and attractive. Furthermore, a structure of parasite shelves for impulse buying was installed. 

With the completed work, satisfied clients, and delighted customers of the Smederevo store Rakić LTD DOO, we have become a part of Smederevo. This is a unique added value and reward in our work.
