INPUT LOCAL LEADERS
How the Požarevac Trade Initiative is Achieving Success and Growing
In every retail ecosystem, dynamics and progress arise through the relationship between different store formats and the unique characteristics they bring to the table. While large retail chains and brands achieve significant market presence and recognition, a unique and equally important part of this world comprises smaller, locally rooted retail formats. They build their identity on their geographical belonging and strong connection with the community in which they operate.
Such is the case with the Styline chain from Požarevac. Established in 1995, this chain has formed a network of retail stores in the city and its surroundings through hard work and a clear vision, eventually opening its largest store of 350 square meters in 2015. Today, this company has 160 employees, 20 markets in the Braničevo District and the Municipality of Majdanpek, and is part of the Domestic Trade Chain (DTL). Additionally, Styline has built a carefully cultivated reputation as a respectable, reliable, and friendly neighbor, as the company's slogan emphasizes: We're here, right in the neighborhood. Styline actively participates in the life of the local community through projects and sponsorships, making it significant for the life of Požarevac's citizens.
This is thanks to the owner, Zeljko Kranjcevic, whose business ethics and intention to provide consumers with the best possible service are felt at every step.
Input Tailor-Made Solution
In addition to the store layout, customized graphics for the interior, checkout counters, and fruit islands, the Styline store in Čačalica now features personalized shelves for healthy food, bread, and bakery products.

#FunFact
The solutions for shelves and systems highlighting healthy food have become part of global retail trends. These solutions often have aesthetics that distinguish them from the rest of the equipment.
Challenges & Solutions
In every project, during the development and familiarization with the client, specific details emerge that were not part of the initial plan. Still, they result from inspiration and the desire to achieve maximum utility, visibility, and beauty. In Styline, this is the hygiene and cosmetics gondola. Its dimension was conditioned by the requirement for easy movement through the space, which was solved by installing a shelf with elements 30 cm deep.

#TipsAndTricks
When designing a store, don’t be afraid to experiment with shelf depth and arrangement. Smaller shelves allow for better customer flow and product visibility with optimal stock.
Hands-on Impressions
Each Styline employee is a host of the store and an exemplary neighbor. Here, advice and conversation with customers are part of the dynamics, and assistance with packing at the checkout is a friendly gesture that makes them feel good and want to return. Smiles, goodwill, and the energy with which the stores are organized and the shelves are restocked for the next customer are not spared.

#InsideRetail
Within retail, the key differences are reflected in the approach to customers. While larger supermarkets and hypermarkets often offer fast and efficient service, smaller local markets focus on personalized experiences. In smaller stores, friendly greetings and help with packing make shopping more pleasant. These small attentions make a difference and make customers feel welcome and valued.
Collaboration is Key!
We approached the Styline project based on the premise of a good, open, and proactive neighborhood market that cares about its customers. It was clear that part of our task was to maintain that spirit and thus support the client's reputation. This task is easy when clear ideas, ways to realize them, and goodwill to achieve a good result meet at the right time and place.

#RetailHarmony
Through joint effort and a clear vision, Styline and Input have created a space that perfectly reflects the spirit of the local community. Collaboration and mutual trust allowed for the realization of every idea. When passion for work and dedication to details come together, the results are always impressive.
